A luncheon hosted by Xenios And Victoria Marckx was held on July 18th after Liturgy to give the parish an opportunity to meet with the newlywed couple that were now residing in Winnipeg. We all wish them health, happiness, and many, many years!
Recently ordained Fr. Anthony (Spencer) Estabrooks visited St. George July 25th to join with Fr. Mirone and Fr. Deacon Michael in celebrating Holy Liturgy. Fr. Anthony was a member of St. George before being asked by His Eminence Archbisop Seraphim ( OCA ) to lead a mission parish.
His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL, recently visiited St. George to officiate at the Funeral Service of Blessed Memory Fr. Joseph MacLellan (July 20th) co-celebrated with a Hierarchal Liturgy. It was very much appreciated by both family members of Fr. Joe, as well as the parish membership. Fr. Joe will be sadly missed by the many friends he has made during his ministry in God's service.
